Enterprise Power for Independent Dealers

To expand beyond its enterprise roots, vAuto set its sights on a new audience: smaller, independent dealerships. GeniusLabs reframes that enterprise intelligence in a clear, lab-inspired system—turning complex tools into accessible, everyday solutions for used-car dealers. Through bubbling-liquid motifs, lab-driven storytelling, and simple, approachable messaging, the brand creates a world of experimentation and clarity designed to help every dealer compete with confidence.

PROJECT DETAILS

The Challenge
vAuto’s premium software ecosystem was built for large, national auto groups. But independent used-car dealers needed similar intelligence — without the complexity, cost, or scale of an enterprise platform. The challenge was to reposition that high-end technology for a smaller market in a way that felt accessible, approachable, and worth investing in, without diluting vAuto’s credibility.

The Approach
We created GeniusLabs, a lab-inspired brand world built around experimentation, clarity, and smart problem-solving. The visual system combined bright, energetic greens with structured graphics and bubbling, science-driven textures — transforming advanced software into something intuitive, modern, and exciting. Through new product identities, collateral, environmental design, video storytelling, and a refresh of digital assets, GeniusLabs reframed vAuto’s tools as accessible innovations engineered specifically for independent dealers.

Results
The new brand ecosystem elevated product perception, clarified value, and opened the door to a previously underserved market. Independent dealers engaged more confidently with vAuto’s tools, viewing them as both attainable and powerful — not “enterprise-only” solutions.

GeniusLabs translated complex technology into a clear, imaginative world that made innovation feel usable and inspiring. By reshaping the narrative and visual language, the brand helped smaller dealers see themselves as capable of competing with larger auto groups — proving how thoughtful design can unlock new markets.

The Hexagon is the core design element in ARxIUM’s visual brand language. With six equal sides, it connects to create infinite patterns and shapes, representing ARxIUM’s versatile and adaptive solutions.
The pill-shaped design originates from the construction of product icons and serves as the core graphic element in OpenText's product portfolio visual system, unifying the suite alongside the new color scheme and font set.
