Vertex Standard approached us to develop a marketing campaign for their compact, water-resistant digital hand-held radio. The challenge: how to highlight multiple key benefits without diluting the message. Our solution was a strategic, phased approach that allowed each product strength to stand out clearly on its own. The result was a cohesive campaign deployed across print, digital, social media, and event signage—all designed to make the message stick.
The Challenge
Featuring multiple product benefits without overwhelming the message was no small feat. How do you communicate clarity, durability, and portability—all at once—without making the campaign feel cluttered or confusing?
The Approach
We broke the message into a three-part drip campaign, letting each benefit shine in its own moment. The visuals were bold yet minimal: clean white backgrounds, black-and-white imagery, and the radio front-and-center. Each ad used real-world scenarios—a compact fit in a hand, a radio surviving a splash, a crowded scene where communication must cut through the noise—to ground the benefits in reality. The radio’s orange digital screen, featuring the brand name, became our visual anchor. We tied this pop of color to the campaign headlines to reinforce brand recognition and benefit clarity.
Results
The campaign rolled out across print, digital banners, social media, and tradeshow signage with consistent, confident messaging. The visual simplicity helped the product—and its features—speak louder.
Why it Worked
By separating the message while unifying the design, we gave each product benefit space to breathe without losing the overall impact. The radio was always the hero, the scenarios always grounded, and the message always clear.
